Stephanie and Kari, cousins with a shared passion for giving back, dreamed of creating a bridal shop that would benefit their community. After years of volunteering with several bridal charities, their dream became a reality in 2025 with the launch of Gowns for Good.

Together, Stephanie and Kari combine their love for weddings, fashion and community service to bring you Gowns for Good, where every dress makes a difference.
Our WHY
Charity
We’re bridal pop-up store that raises funds for charity by collecting and reselling donated Wedding, Maids, Moms and Prom dresses!
Sustainability
Most of our inventory consists of floor samples donated by stores, shows, and individuals! We offer a green solution for bridal stores to clear out their storerooms, while giving brides an eco-conscious choice for wedding dress shopping!
Community
We are proud to be part of the Elgin community and the Wedding community. We look forward to many collaborative efforts with our local charities.
Inclusive
We attempt to be inclusive in what we do and what we offer! We work to source a wide range of sizes and styles for every body type, location and personal style.
Affordable
All dresses are discounted up to 80% off MSRP. Each dress is priced individually based on the designer, style, year, and condition.
Every pop-up shop will have a rack of $99 bridal gowns.
