As a pop-up dress shop, Gowns for Good brings stunning wedding gowns to brides. We collaborate with national and international suppliers to offer a selection of over 600 dresses at discounts of up to 80% off the MSRP!
Each sales event is held at a local venue, providing brides and their guests the perfect opportunity to see, feel, and try on the dresses in a comfortable setting. Our experts are on hand at each event to answer any questions.
This FAQ section includes answers to the most commonly asked questions submitted by brides through our online contact form.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final, no returns or exchanges.
Are all of the gowns white?
While the vast majority of our wedding gowns are white, we do have dresses in cream, blush, and ivory hues. The colors available on the day of the event depends on our selection from our suppliers and donations.
Do you do alterations?
Alterations are your responsibility. To keep costs down, consider finding an experienced local seamstress. Typically, there isn't much extra material to let out a dress, except for possibly converting a zipper back to a corset back. As a rule of thumb, purchase the size you need (or anticipate needing), but if you're unsure, it's safer to buy a slightly larger size.
How many dresses are at a sale?
Each sale will have a selection of over 600 dresses for you to choose from.
Do I need a ticket?
Yes. Tickets include a shopping time and that helps to ensure a fitting room will be available for you. You are also able purchase of our Early Access VIP Ticket which gives the bride and her party benefits. The $40-$50 ticket allows access to the event before the doors are opened to the public, guarantees an assigned change room.
How many guests are allowed with a bride?
Bride +3,
Children, including babies, are not allowed.
What sizes do you carry? Can I order another size?
Our off the rack gowns range
0-30.. For different sizes, you will need to buy from the designer directly.
How much are your dresses?
Bridal Gowns range from $99-$1500.
Non-Wedding dresses start at $25
What should I expect at your sale?
Dresses are organized on racks by size, making it easy to browse. There are usually a minimum of 10 changing rooms available to provide privacy while you try on potential dresses.
The best part? You get to take your dress home on the day of the sale!
Can I try on dresses?
Absolutely. We normally have 10 large change rooms where you can try on your dress. We allow you to take up to 3 dresses with you in a change room at a time to ensure there are lots of dresses available for other brides who attend.
Why should I buy off the rack?
Shopping for an off-the-rack wedding dress can come with advantages, beginning with costs. Off-the-rack dresses are substantially less than specially ordered dresses. At our pop-up wedding dress sale events, you can find designer dresses for up to 80% off.
Can I order the dress I see in the pictures?
Unfortunately, no. All of our inventory is off the rack and many of our images used are stock photos. We can not guarantee what inventory is available on show dates.
